Perth is the capital of Western Australia and Australia's fourth largest city with an estimated population of 2.1m people.

The CBD is bisected by the Swan River and bounded by golden sand beaches to the west, Perth offers numerous tourist attractions that include: -

  • Historical sites
  • Spectacular over-water sunsets

 Amongst other things, Perth is famous for being the home of AC/DC lead singer, Bon Scott. Immortalised in bronze in Fremantle Harbour, Bon's final resting place can be found at Fremantle Cemetary. Enter through the Bon Scott gate and look for his grave marker on the left, a short walk up the path.

Fremantle goal provides a fascinating insight into the history of Perth. Taking a guided tour through the goal is a half-day well spent.
